We are holding a resident town hall on Wednesday, June 21st at 7pm at the Skyland Fire Department to update you on the proposed Overlook development and to give you an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns. The developer will not be attending this meeting.
A group of HOA presidents met with the developer’s attorney today (this was the meeting referenced in this morning’s WLOS story) to introduce themselves and to listen to what he had to say. He told the group that the developer was coming up with additional plans for the site that he could develop “by right” meaning that he would not need Board of Adjustment approval to build. He would share those plans with the community when they are finished and was willing to have a public town hall meeting to explain them and answer resident questions. As soon as we get those plans, we will send them out to the group.
Thank you all for your continued interest and help. We’re doing our best to keep you informed and hope to see you next Wednesday, June 21st at 7pm at the Skyland Fire Department.
